Among the names of the Qur'an mentioned by Fakhr al-Din al-Razi is al-qaṣaṣ (“the stories”), (We relate to you the best of stories) and because one must follow the traces of the Qur'an and its verses and track them like expert trackers, so that one becomes skilled at it (And she said to his sister, “Follow him”)
And when he began explaining the verses of legal retribution (al-qiṣāṣ), he (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
"The fourth aspect: Abu al-Jawza' read ﴿And there is for you in al-qiṣāṣ life﴾, meaning in what He has related (qaṣṣa) to you of the ruling on killing and retribution. And it was said: (al-qiṣāṣ) is the Qur'an, meaning for you in the Qur'an there is life for the hearts, like His saying: ﴿a spirit of Our command﴾ [Ash-Shura: 52] and ﴿and those who lived [in faith] would live upon evidence﴾ [Al-Anfal: 42]. And Allah knows best."
