Reflections on the Quran & Sunnah

Guidance and Good Tidings

In the Quran comes (guidance and good tidings), so what is the secret of this order?

That they achieved guidance first, so they earned the news of good tidings for it second (al-Tafsir al-Muharrar)

I say: and among the evidence for it is the saying of Allah the Exalted (Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and were fearing Allah. For them are good tidings in the worldly life and in the Hereafter. No change is there in the words of Allah. That is what is the great attainment)

They exerted the means of guidance, so they were granted allyship, and so they attained for it the prizes of good tidings.
